The Metabo GE710 Plus 600616420 1/4" 6.4-Amp Die Grinder is equipped to conquer all your grinding, sanding, honing, polishing, or machining applications. It has a long grinding spindle that is ideal for working in hard-to-reach places, and has a lock for simple tool changes. This rotary tool is vario-constamatic (VC); the full wave electronics for working at customized speeds that remain almost constant even under load. The thumbwheel provides speed preselection. The electronic safety shutdown of the motor provides protection if the tool stops working unexpectedly. It has restart protection to prevent unintentional start-up after power supply interruption and electronic overload protection for long service life. The removable protective rubber cap ensures comfort and safety. Additional features include a precise collar for stationary use, slim housing for ideal handling, and precision collet for precise concentricity. The Metabo-built motor has a patented dust protection for extended tool life. It puts out 6.4-amps, with a no-load speed between 10000-30500 RPM, and 24000 RPM at rated load. The rated input power is 710-watts and the output power is 430-watts.
