SKF developed its Heavy Duty wheel-kit technology to provide increased protection against contamination and improved resistance to high-pressure washing compared with conventional sealing solutions. The design also focuses on reducing seal friction without compromising sealing performance. The included spacers provide the intended running surface for the wheel seals, helping maintain proper sealing geometry during wheel operation.
